Verena Dietz found her enthusiasm for development cooperation through her master’s degree in agricultural and resource economics with a focus on agricultural and development policy at the University of Gießen. With a Bachelor’s degree in Ecotrophology she covers both, the agricultural and food sector as well. After several positions in journalism, Verena is now a Junior Programme Manager for Africa and India, focusing mainly on organisational matters. She already gained experience as a student spokeswoman for the VDL Agrar Ernährung Umwelt professional association. There she experienced the advantages of being a member of organisations themselves, which she now passes on to her international partners. Verena likes sports and singing best to balance her job.
