Similar to AHA, Baidy also moved from Bonn to Berlin, though his journey took several stops along the way. After graduating from high school in Bonn, he completed a German-French apprenticeship in accounting and management in Paris before studying geography at the universities of Bonn, Cologne and Lisbon. During his studies, he developed a particular interest in development issues in the agriculture sector.

An internship with an NGO in Morocco, which focused on organic farming and combating desertification, gave him his first practical experience and inspired his enthusiasm for food sovereignty and agroecological approaches. He was then able to pursue these interests in international cooperation projects, including a project on soil protection and rehabilitation in Madagascar.

His interest in the interface between agriculture and international cooperation eventually led him to AHA, where he has been working as a junior programme manager since 2025, supporting work in the French-speaking project countries in West Africa.
