Qualified Trainers

The Andreas Hermes Akademie works with a pool of highly qualified, practice-oriented trainers, coaches, and facilitators. Many of them come directly from the agricultural and food sector – and quite a lot manage their own farms. What unites them is a positive view of people: they place individual potential and personal development at the very center of their work.

Alongside professional expertise, our trainers bring a systemic approach and meet participants with respect and as equals. This attitude is central to our philosophy – which is why we train and further qualify many of our trainers ourselves, strengthening them in this approach and equipping them with both proven and innovative methods.

Through our Train-the-Trainer programmes , we qualify people worldwide – whether independently or within an organisation. Particularly impactful are programmes where trainers come from the farming community (“Lead Farmers”) and are anchored within a local partner organisation. This ensures that training is delivered continuously and on a long-term basis.

Our goal

Our goal is to empower trainers not only to impart knowledge but also to act as catalysts for sustainable change – creating impact that extends far beyond the training itself. We are convinced: our partners are key actors for the future of our agri-food systems. And we strengthen them in playing an active role in shaping this transformation.

Our commitment to neutrality ensures that our interventions remain impartial, enabling us to support and strengthen our partners in ways that foster genuine and lasting change

Our formats

Our formats combine technical expertise with experiential learning and personal reflection. They enable a genuine transfer into the daily lives of participants. Intensive training series thus create maximum impact – at an individual level, within teams, and across organisations.

Our trainers are active in Germany, various African countries, and in India. Thanks to their wide international experience, they have a fine sensitivity for cultural, social, and economic contexts – supporting people, organisations, and communities with empathy and professional competence.
